In response to the Supreme Court’s ruling in Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement:  

“While millions of Americans will continue to have the freedom to make their own health care decisions, and have access to safe and effective medication, make no mistake: MAGA Republicans have made clear they won’t stop until they fulfill their ultimate goal of banning abortion nationwide, which has already become the definitive litmus test of the 2024 Republican primary. The stakes could not be higher and Democrats will never stop fighting to protect reproductive freedom, and to hold these extreme MAGA Republicans accountable.”
