Ahead of Donald Trump’s $250,000 per person fundraiser at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey on Saturday, Democratic National Committee spokesperson John Weber released the following statement:

“Months into this crisis, and as cases spike in states across the country, Donald Trump would still rather scrounge for money from his rich friends than help working families. More than 12,000 New Jerseyans have lost their lives in this pandemic, and more than 1.2 million have lost work. We can’t afford four more years of Trump’s chaos, and we’re going to bring this failed presidency to an end come November.”
