Yesterday, the “Build Back Better” bus made a stop in Las Vegas where Governor Steve Sisolak and Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz put a spotlight on how President Biden’s agenda has helped Nevadans. At the stop, local leaders Cecia Alvarado of Mi Familia Vota, and Erica Mosca of Leaders in Training, made clear that thanks to President Biden and Democrats’ Build Back Better plan, Nevada was able to use American Rescue Plan funds to help keep small businesses open, create new jobs, and ensure families have the resources they need with the expanded child tax credit payments. The bus will stop in Arizona tomorrow, and is making stops in more than ten states across the South, Mountain West, Midwest, and Northeast throughout the month of August.
