HYPOCRISY ALERT: GOP Leader Mitch McConnell Tries To Take Credit For Funding He Opposed

This week, Senator Mitch McConnell released an op-ed highlighting new funding for Kentucky, including $1.1 million he conveniently forgets to mention came from the American Rescue Plan. You remember the American Rescue Plan, right? The one that every single Republican in Congress, including Senator Mitch McConnell, avidly campaigned and voted against. Who’s going to tell him this isn’t high school, and you can’t put your name on a group project without doing the work?

Mitch McConnell actively opposed the funding he is now trying to take credit for and said his state didn’t need. So is he saying he was wrong then or now?
