ICYMI: DNC, DSCC, DCCC File Lawsuit Against Trump Administration’s Attack on Fair and Free Elections
March 3, 2025

On Friday, the DNC, DSCC, and DCCC filed a joint lawsuit against Trump’s illegal executive order falsely claiming the White House has total power of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The lawsuit challenges Trump’s illegal actions to dictate campaign rules from the White House, undermining Americans’ right to fair elections with impartial referees. Democrats refuse to let Trump rip away the seams of our democracy. That’s why we will continue to use every tool at our disposal, including the court of law, to defend and uphold Americans’ right to free and fair elections.
