DNC Chair Jaime Harrison joined WTAJ this week to discuss how President Biden’s student loan relief plan will benefit middle class Pennsylvanians. In the Keystone State alone, roughly one million Pennsylvanians may qualify for student debt forgiveness, and President Biden’s plan offers targeted debt relief to help address the burden of steep college costs, make the student loan system more manageable for working families, and create opportunity for Americans.

CHAIR HARRISON: “You’re not going to have these compounding interests, and a lot of young people have had to deal with that. In the end of the day, they end up with a loan amount far greater than what they actually borrowed, and so the president addresses this in his proposal.”
