IN HER OWN WORDS: Nikki Haley “Proud” Of The MAGA Agenda Even After January 6

Nikki Haley’s announcement video conveniently glossed over her tight embrace of Donald Trump and his extreme agenda. In case you missed it, here’s a reminder of how Haley has tied herself to the hip to the MAGA agenda from her time in the Trump administration to the aftermath of the January 6 insurrection to just a few weeks ago.

Haley pledged her proud and enthusiastic support and defended the Trump administration in an op-ed in the Washington Post.

Haley: “I, too, am a senior Trump administration official. I proudly serve in this administration, and I enthusiastically support most of its decisions and the direction it is taking the country.”

Less than one month after the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, Haley tweeted that she was “really proud” of the Trump administration, urging Republicans to “embrace” their agenda.

Haley: “I’m really proud of the successes of the Trump administration. Whether it was foreign policy or domestic policy, we should embrace those. Those were the right policies.”

When asked about any distinctions between herself and Trump, Haley didn’t name a single difference.

Mediaite: “‘Right now, President Trump is the only announced Republican candidate,’ Hannity said. ‘What policy differences do you have with Trump?’ Haley said she had ‘a great working relationship with him’ and dodged the question.”
