Today, as Vice President Harris travels to Pennsylvania to outline the stakes of this election for women, MAGA Republicans in Pennsylvania are trying to rip away their freedoms. Two weeks ago, Trump’s MAGA minion Congressman Scott Perry tried and failed to hide his support for a national abortion ban. DNC spokesperson Addy Toevs released the following statement: 

“Pennsylvania voters aren’t fooled: At every turn, Trump and MAGA Republicans like Perry have shown they won’t hesitate to dismantle our rights if given the chance. While President Biden and Vice President Harris fight to protect and restore our reproductive freedoms, Trump and his MAGA extremists are hellbent on enacting draconian abortion bans in Pennsylvania and throughout the United States.” 

MAGA Republicans in Pennsylvania won’t hesitate to send a national abortion ban to Trump’s desk if given the chance.

• Last year, five Pennsylvania U.S. representatives, including Perry, signed onto national abortion ban legislation that would jeopardize women’s access to health care, from abortion to contraception and IVF. 
• With Trump’s support, Representatives Scott Perry, Guy Reschenthaler, Lloyd Smucker, John Joyce, and Glenn Thompson are working to rip away reproductive care.
