Following revelations that Donald Trump lied to the American people about the severity of the coronavirus, the DNC War Room released a new television ad, “Red Handed,” in Florida, Minnesota, and Nevada. The 30-second spot contrasts how Trump publicly downplayed the threat the virus poses to children, while privately admitting its dangers to journalist Bob Woodward.

In Florida:

Palm Beach Post: Dems use Woodward tell-all book to blast Trump’s COVID response. “The Democratic National Committee will release an ad in Palm Beach County today that uses comments made by President Donald Trump to journalist Bob Woodward to show Trump knew about the lethal threat posed by the coronavirus while publicly downplaying its seriousness. The 30-second spot called ‘Red Handed’ comes a day after the release of Woodward’s blockbuster book, ‘Rage,’ and Democratic hopeful Joe Biden’s first trip to Florida since the pandemic.”
