IN THE STATES: Biden and Democrats Highlight What’s At Stake

Last night, President Biden held a rally in Rockville, Maryland, where he was joined by gubernatorial candidate Wes Moore and other Maryland Democrats on the ballot this year to highlight the choice voters have this November between Democrats taking on special interests to deliver for working families, versus Republicans pushing their extreme MAGA agenda that costs Americans. 


On Thursday, new abortion bans and restrictions went into effect in Idaho, Tennessee, and Texas as Republicans’ extreme, anti-choice agenda continues to take us backwards on reproductive freedom. 

On Wednesday, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison traveled to Kentucky to campaign with Senate candidate Charles Booker and support Democrats up and down the ballot.

Following President Biden’s announcement that he is delivering on a campaign promise and taking action to provide up to $20,000 in debt cancellation to Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 in debt cancellation to non-Pell Grant recipients, Americans across the country are sharing how the forgiveness will make a significantly positive impact on their lives.
