On Tuesday, the DNC announced a new, initial $1.5 million investment into the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign to help Virginia Democrats win up and down the ballot this November. The DNC is pouring money into the Virginia coordinated campaign to build strong Democratic power on the ground and mobilize an army of energized voters who will help elect Democratic leaders committed to delivering for families. The DNC’s latest investment is on top of the DNC’s history-making investment in all Democratic state parties.

Today, DNC Chair Ken Martin traveled to Houston to meet with Texas House Democratic Leader Rep. Gene Wu, other Texas Dems caucus leaders, and allied groups as they gear up to fight back against Republicans’ blatant power grab. Chair Martin was invited by Texas Democrats to strategize with leaders on the ground. The Chair has been clear that the DNC is committed to fighting alongside these leaders for fair representation and is ready to work with them to fight back against this Republican overreach.
