Starting on Tax Day Monday and throughout this week, Americans in battleground states saw a consistent theme in their local headlines – Republicans have a plan to raise taxes if they win in November. Republicans’ plan could raise taxes on more than half of the country – including seniors, service members, and many working Americans – not to mention the fact that it could sunset Medicare and Social Security that millions rely on.
