Adam Laxalt: “Roe v. Wade was always a joke.”

Today’s MAGA Hot Mic moment comes from Nevada GOP Senate candidate Adam Laxalt. 

In a newly released audio recording, MAGA Republican and NV Senate candidate Adam Laxalt called the landmark Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade a “joke.”

Laxalt went even further touting his anti-choice record and the fact that he has gone “a step further” than other Republicans and said it is “sad” that the people of Nevada are not anti-abortion.

LAXALT: “Roe v. Wade was always a joke. It was a total, complete invention…It has created decades and decades of political turmoil. Not to mention, the most important thing that it allowed across the country. So, I think its return back to the states is important…we went a step further, and a lot of Republicans kind of hide out.” 

LAXALT: “We’re not a pro-life state. We all have to be honest about that. It’s sad, it doesn’t make me happy.”
