It’s Groundhog Day for MAGA Republicans who are running their standard play of taking credit for President Biden and Democrats’ accomplishments after they did everything in their power to prevent those investments from even happening. Thankfully, President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats are getting things done for hardworking people across this country and building the economy from the middle out and bottom up — despite these Republicans’ best efforts.

After President Biden announced a historic investment in affordable, high-speed internet in all 50 states, MAGA Republicans wasted no time in taking credit for the funding coming to communities in their states — conveniently leaving out their opposition to the investments in Congress.

Rep. Nancy Mace even staged a press conference to take credit for federal transit funding made possible through a grant program expanded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law — which she not only voted against, but also railed against in an op-ed for Fox News.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp refused to attribute any credit to a Bipartisan Infrastructure Law grant at the groundbreaking of a new manufacturing plant, which — thanks to President Biden’s leadership — promises hundreds of new jobs.
