The Rules and Bylaws Committee (RBC) of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will hold a virtual meeting on Thursday, May 27. The only item of business will be a discussion of the reforms related to government-run primaries that were made for the 2020 presidential nominating process.
Traditionally, after every presidential nominating cycle the RBC will meet to discuss the previous cycle before beginning the process of drafting the rules for future nominating cycles. Over the coming months, the RBC will review the elements of the last nominating process to determine what worked well and to identify any reforms needed to improve the process. This process does not include the writing and implementation of rules for the next presidential nominating process.
