The DNC War Room is releasing a new television ad today, “Sacrifice,” that blasts Trump for his long record of disparaging comments about America’s service members.

The 60-second spot will air on cable in the Tampa media market — which includes MacDill Air Force Base — as part of a six-figure buy.

“Millions of brave men and women have made immense sacrifices in order to keep our country safe. But Trump, who inherited everything and sacrificed nothing, has spent years denigrating America’s service members and veterans,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “Florida deserves leaders like Joe Biden who understand the sacrifices made by members of our military and their families—that’ll never be Donald Trump.”

The ad follows recent reporting in the Atlantic detailing how Trump has routinely disrespected America’s servicemembers, including calling fallen service members “losers” and “suckers.” To date, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the New York Times, Fox News, and CNN have confirmed Trump’s disparaging comments about the military.
