Tonight, the RNC will focus on “Land of Opportunity,” and as a pre-buttal to their next night of lies, DNC War Room is releasing a new video that lays out Trump’s economic record and the ways his chaos presidency has destroyed opportunities for Americans.

“Donald Trump inherited a booming economy, but just like everything he has ever inherited, he wasted it,” said DNC War Room senior spokesperson and advisor Lily Adams. “Americans across the country are hurting as a result of Trump’s chaos, with families worried they can’t afford to put food on the table or pay rent while Trump works to bail out the wealthy and rich corporations. The American people deserve a president who will take this crisis seriously, not someone who is willing to leave them behind.”

Trump’s failed response to the coronavirus, on top of his economic agenda that rewards the wealthiest Americans at the expense of hardworking families, drove the thriving economy handed to him by the Obama-Biden administration into the ground, leaving millions of Americans jobless and permanently shuttering over 110,000 small businesses. And while the American people suffer as a result of Trump’s chaos, his administration is busy cutting aid to unemployed workers and sending hundreds of millions of dollars to help large and foreign-owned corporations.
