Last night, President Biden delivered a forceful State of the Union speech with a focus on historic progress made and the progress his administration will continue to make.
Polls show that last night’s State of the Union was well received by the American people and left viewers feeling hopeful and optimistic about our nation.
CNN: “A 71% majority of Americans who watched President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address had a positive reaction to the speech.”
CBS News: “Most Americans who watched President Biden’s first State of the Union address approved of what they heard, and many said it made them feel optimistic and proud. … Overall, about 8 in 10 of speech watchers approved of Mr. Biden’s address tonight, including majorities of both Democrats and independents.”
The vast majority of Americans who watched President Biden’s speech say his policies will move the country in the right direction, including lowering inflation.
CNN: “Those who watched the speech say that Biden’s policy proposals would move the country in the right direction (67%) rather than the wrong direction (33%).”
