NEXT WEEK: DNC Unity Reform Commission to Meet in Washington, D.C.   

WASHINGTON – Next week, December 8-9, the Democratic National Committee’s Unity Reform Commission will hold its final meeting in Washington, D.C.  Over the course of the two-day event, Unity Reform Commission Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon and Vice Chair Larry Cohen will lead discussions on the final recommendations of the commission. The commission is mandated to issue its report and recommendations to the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee no later than January 1, 2018.

Created during the 2016 Democratic National Convention, the commission will recommend improvements to ensure the presidential nomination process is accessible, transparent, and inclusive. The commission is made up of 21 members selected by Sec. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and DNC Chair Tom Perez.
