Outrage Grows Over ‘Golden Visa’ Pitch and Trump Family Padding Their Pockets Off Presidency

Over the weekend it was reported Jared Kushner’s sister highlighted her brother’s role in the Trump White House while pitching “golden visa” investments in a Kushner Companies real estate project in New Jersey.

As Donald Trump and his family continue to profit off the Presidency, policymakers, ethics experts and watchdog groups are calling for Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump to recuse themselves from all things related to China:

The Washington Post: “It is well past time for this administration to begin drawing real and meaningful lines to avoid catastrophic conflicts of interest. The latest reports make it is even more important that Kushner and Ivanka Trump step forward and do the right thing. A broad recusal on China policy would be a good — and essential — start.” – Norm Eisen, Former White House Ethics Lawyer.

The New York Times: “His stake, along with some other investments, is worth as much as $600 million, and possibly much more, according to a government ethics disclosure form made public by Mr. Kushner in March. But Kushner Companies has declined to make public a list of its partners.”

Roll Call: “Congress should end a contentious ‘citizenship-for-sale’ visa program in order to eliminate a potential conflict of interest for Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and a White House adviser.” – Senator Dianne Feinstein
