DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement on President Trump signing the repeal of the FCC’s internet privacy rules:
 
“Donald Trump literally just signed away the privacy rights of millions of Americans. He believes in privacy when it comes to his tax returns, his business deals, and his Russian connections, but when it comes to the internet privacy of millions of Americans, he'd rather let billionaire moguls like himself make a quick buck by auctioning our personal information to the highest bidder.
 
“While Trump’s Wall Street friends are toasting tonight's signing, Democrats are fighting to preserve President Obama’s progress towards an open and free internet that protects Americans from corporate greed run amok.”
