President Obama and Democratic Presidential Candidates to Address the DNC’s Women’s Leadership Forum

Washington, DC—President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential candidates Lincoln Chafee, Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, and Bernie Sanders will address the Democratic Women’s Alliance on Friday, October 23 at the Women’s Leadership Forum 22nd Annual Issues Conference.

Attendees will also hear from House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The Alliance will hold the Issues Conference October 22-23 at the Grand Hyatt—1000 H St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.

At the forum, President Obama and the Democratic presidential candidates will once again show that the choice the American people will face in next November’s election couldn’t be more important. When it comes to protecting quality, affordable health care, ensuring equal pay for women, fixing our broken immigration system, raising the minimum wage, protecting our environment, and continuing the economic progress we’ve seen under President Obama’s leadership, it is clear that we must elect a Democrat as the next President of the United States to build on the progress we have made. This event will give our candidates another chance to present their visions for how to keep America moving forward.

President Obama, Leader Pelosi, Chairwoman Wasserman Schultz and the candidates’ remarks at the Women’s Leadership Forum will be open press. Additional details on schedule, logistics and media credentialing are forthcoming.
