REMINDER: Trump Proposed Cuts to Social Security and Medicare EVERY YEAR He Was in Office

As 2024 Republicans squabble over who wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, don’t forget Donald Trump proposed cuts to Medicare and Social Security programs EVERY SINGLE YEAR he was in office.

While Trump is pointing his finger at other MAGA Republicans, he still owns his own proposals to gut Social Security and Medicare in every single one of his budgets.

Washington Post: “His avowed stance, however, is at odds with Trump’s own record as president: Each of his White House budget proposals included cuts to Social Security and Medicare programs.”

Let’s not forget: Trump promised to eliminate the taxes that fund Social Security and Medicare during his 2020 campaign.

Trump: “If we win … the payroll tax will be rescinded.”

No matter how many times he tries to rewrite his record, Trump admitted that Medicare and Social Security programs would be on the table for cuts if he were to have another term in office.

CNBC: “JOE KERNEN: Entitlements ever be on your plate?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: At some point they will be … we will take a look at that. You know, that’s actually the easiest of all things.”

Axios: “Trump suggests entitlement cuts could come in his second term”
