REMINDER: Trump REPEATEDLY Proposed Cuts To Social Security And Medicare

Despite trying to rewrite his own record, Donald Trump’s multiple attempts to cut Medicare and Social Security programs are just as extreme as the rest of the 2024 GOP field.

Trump proposed cuts to Medicare and Social Security programs EVERY SINGLE YEAR he was in office.

Washington Post: “His avowed stance, however, is at odds with Trump’s own record as president: Each of his White House budget proposals included cuts to Social Security and Medicare programs.”

The last time Trump ran for president, he pledged to eliminate the program that funds Social Security and Medicare.

Trump: “If we win … the payroll tax will be rescinded.”

He also admitted that Social Security and Medicare programs would be on the table for cuts if he were to have another term in office.

CNBC: “JOE KERNEN: Entitlements ever be on your plate?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: At some point they will be… we will take a look at that. You know, that’s actually the easiest of all things.”
