Republicans Are 100% “Committed” to Raising Costs

While Democrats remain laser-focused on lowering costs for American families, Republicans have voted AGAINST bringing down prices at every single turn.

Just last month, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy rolled out his “Commitment to America” agenda that includes repealing key pieces of President Joe Biden’s historic cost-cutting legislation. Make no mistake: Republicans are 100% “committed” to raising prescription drug costs on millions of Americans.

Axios: “Some key House Republicans are calling for the repeal of Democrats’ newly-passed drug pricing measure if the GOP flips control of one or both chambers of Congress next year.”

But that’s not all: In August, Republicans actually went out of their way to strip out a $35 monthly cap on out-of-pocket insulin costs for millions of Americans on private insurance.

And as Big Oil rakes in massive profits on the backs of working families, let’s not forget — every single House Republican voted against legislation to crack down on gas price gouging and help lower prices at the pump.

CBS News: “The House of Representatives passed a bill along party lines Thursday that seeks to lower gas prices by cracking down on alleged price gouging by energy companies. The House vote was 217-207: no Republican supported the bill…”

These people have absolutely ZERO credibility on the economy. In fact, 187 House Republicans even sided with the Chinese Communist Party and voted againstbringing thousands of American manufacturing jobs back home.

The Hill: “House Republican leadership [urged] members of its conference to vote against a bill to bolster the domestic chip manufacturing industry.”

Washington Post: “[The CHIPS Act will] provide $52 billion in subsidies to domestic semiconductor manufacturers… in a bid to strengthen the United States’ competitiveness and self-reliance in what is seen as a keystone industry for economic and national security.”

Republicans are running on a “commitment” to raise costs for working families. If they take control, they will stop at nothing to make this extreme vision a reality.
