Republicans’ Extreme War on Choice is Out of Touch With America

The reported Supreme Court draft opinion uncovering that conservative justices are set to overturn Roe v. Wade is the result of Republicans’ unrelenting radical war on the right to choose. Let’s be very clear – Republicans are on the wrong side of the American people, and they will be held accountable for their extreme, radical MAGA agenda.

The evidence is clear  – the overwhelming majority of Americans support safe and legal access to abortion and support the precedent established by the Supreme Court nearly 50 years ago. Republicans’ MAGA agenda is wildly out of touch with the American people.

FiveThirtyEight: “According to an ABC News/The Washington Post poll conducted in early November, 75 percent of Americans thought abortion should be left to a woman and her doctor, while only 20 percent thought it should be regulated by law.”

Des Moines Register: “Iowa Poll: Majority of Iowans believe abortion should be legal in most or all cases”

ClickOnDetroit: “Poll: Michigan voters want Roe v. Wade abortion law kept in place”

Forbes: “A majority of Americans broadly believe abortion should be legal and more than 60% believe people should be able to obtain abortions during the first trimester of their pregnancy, a new Associated Press/NORC poll finds.”

New York Times: “Most Americans disagree with the Supreme Court decision on Texas’ abortion ban, a poll finds.”

CNN: “Just 30% of Americans say they’d like to see the Supreme Court completely overturn its Roe vs. Wade decision, with 69% opposed.”
