Republicans Hope You Forget They Voted Against Funding for Ukraine

Republicans are quick to spin up criticism as President Biden arms the Ukrainian people against Russia’s war, but seem to have amnesia about their own record. Republicans not only want you to forget they excused Donald Trump withholding military aid from Ukraine and praising Putin, but also that the majority of Senate Republicans just voted against sending critical aid to Ukraine.

Let’s not forget, 31 Senate Republicans voted against a bill providing funding for Ukraine.

While Russian bombs and missiles forced millions of Ukrainians to flee from their homes, Senate Republicans tried to block the confirmation of President Biden’s nominees for key posts at the State Department and USAID.
