Republicans Vote Against Aid For Ukraine (AGAIN)

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: The Republican Party has a growing pro-Putin and anti-Ukraine wing. Following in the footsteps of Republican Party leader Donald Trump – who has repeatedly praised Putin and attacked NATO – last week, 10 House Republicans voted against making it easier to send military aid to Ukraine.

Just last week, 10 House Republicans voted against a measure to make it easier for the U.S. to send military equipment to our allies in Ukraine.

Insider: “These 10 Republicans were the only House members to vote against a bill to lend defensive military equipment to Ukraine”

The Hill: “Ten House Republicans voted against a bill on Thursday that seeks to create a lend-lease program that would make it easier for the U.S. to send military aid to Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion.”

This is just the latest sign of the Republican Party’s ever-growing pro-Putin, anti-Ukraine wing, as Republican lawmakers have repeatedly voted against measures to support Ukraine and NATO over the last two months.

Washington Post: “More than two dozen Senate Republicans demand Biden do more for Ukraine after voting against $13.6 billion for Ukraine”

Insider: “6 GOP House members opposed a bill meant to document and preserve evidence of war crimes during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine”

Heartland Signal: “Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) blames Ukraine for being invaded: ‘You see Ukraine just kept poking the bear, poking the bear, which is Russia, and Russia invaded. And the hard truth is … there is no win for Ukraine here. Russia is being very successful in their invasion.’”

But we can’t say we’re surprised, considering Republicans are simply following the lead of Donald Trump, who has repeatedly praised Putin and attacked our NATO allies.

Politico: “Trump calls Putin ‘genius’ and ‘savvy’ for Ukraine invasion”
