The GOP Doesn’t Want to Talk About How They’re Gutting Reproductive Health Care

It has been nearly a week since conservative Supreme Court justices overturned Roe v. Wade – a direct result of MAGA Republicans’ decades-long war on the right to an abortion.

Instead of acknowledging the devastating impacts that this ruling will have on women across the country, Republicans are trying to change the subject away from abortion.

Washington Post: “After reversal of Roe, many Republicans want to change the subject”

Washington Post: “While Democrats have leaned heavily into elevating the concerns over the court ruling and the new limits that will be imposed on abortion, many Republicans have been avoiding questions on the topic or taking pains to shift the subject.”

New York Post: “GOP hopeful abortion dies as midterm issue after SCOTUS ends Roe v. Wade”

Why? Because the majority of the American people disagree with their dangerous extremism and unwarranted attacks on the right to choose.

CNN: “Majorities disapprove of Roe v. Wade reversal and Democrats are motivated, polls show”

The Hill: “More than 6 in 10 say it’s important for midterm candidates to support abortion access: poll”

But the DNC will not let them run from their record on abortion. We will make sure voters know what’s at stake this November.
