DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced plans to resurrect the GOP’s failed health care repeal bill again next week.

“No matter how many times the American people reject the Republican health care repeal, Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Mitch McConnell keep trying to ram it through. There is no amendment or revision that could save their repeal from being a disaster for working families.

“But we can’t sit back and hope that Republican Senators will come to their senses. We need to keep organizing, keep calling, and keep up the pressure to stop them from ripping health care away from as many as 32 million Americans.”
