Trump Faces Embarrassment And Defeat, Again

Yesterday, Trump experienced yet another defeat as the final two states where he contested the results were certified and President-elect Biden’s victory was confirmed, again. Trump continues to embarrass himself as he refuses to concede and his baseless claims of voter fraud are repeatedly rejected, increasingly by even his own allies.

President-elect Biden’s victories were certified in Wisconsin and Arizona — the last two of the six states where Trump contested the election results.

Washington Post: “Wisconsin and Arizona on Monday became the last two of six states where President Trump has contested his defeat to finalize their vote counts, dealing a fresh blow to his quest to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory as a chorus of Republicans and Democrats offered support for the election’s integrity.”

Trump faced embarrassing rejection as Arizona was certified while Giuliani made baseless claims and the Republican governor ignored Trump’s call.

Mediaite: “Trump appeared to make a last-ditch phone call to Gov. Ducey to keep him from certifying the election results, and the governor ignored the call. The most embarrassing part? It was captured on camera.”

CNN’s Kyle Cheney: “As Giuliani testifies to Arizona GOP legislators about unfounded claims of fraud, the state government certified Biden’s victory.”

Trump’s allies faced yet another skeptical reception in court as a Georgia judge said there was “precious little proof” to support an election fraud suit.

Politico: “Judge: ‘Precious little proof’ in Georgia election fraud suit”

Politico: “U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Batten Sr. made the comments during an hour-long Sunday night court hearing on a lawsuit filed last week by Sidney Powell, a firebrand attorney who briefly joined Trump’s legal team in recent weeks before being dismissed from it.”

The chorus of Republican voices and Trump’s allies calling on him to end his baseless claims and accept the election results continues to grow.

Senator Murkowski: “I think he should concede, I think the race is over.”

Geraldo Rivera: “I think that the president is on the wrong course here. I think he’s gotta take a real gut check between now and Saturday, with all due respect, and, you know, I love the guy, but enough is enough now.”

Rep. Paul Mitchell: “Oh my God. .@realDonaldTrump Please for the sake of our Nation please drop these arguments without evidence or factual basis. #stopthestupid”
