In his speech, Trump doubled down on his extreme election denialism and claimed that he “won the second [2020] election… by a lot.”
FACT: Donald Trump lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden by 7 million votes.
FACT: Joe Biden won more than 81 million votes — the most of any presidential candidate in American history.
Trump also tried to rewrite his own history on Social Security and Medicare.
FACT: Trump proposed cuts to Medicare and Social Security programs every single year he was in office.
