Trump Voters On His Shutdown: ‘What The [Expletive] Were We Thinking?’

Trump is losing support with his own voters over his government shutdown. Trump’s voters think the Trump Shutdown is “ridiculous.” They are “sick” of his border wall. And they now regret voting for Trump, asking “What the [expletive] were we thinking?”

Here’s what Trump voters had to say about his shutdown:

“What the [expletive] were we thinking?” – Trump voter

“It’s silly. It’s destructive.” – Trump voter

“The wall is getting out of hand. It’s too much. It’s ridiculous. I’m sick of seeing it, I’m sick of hearing about it.” – Trump voter

“I was doing fine with him up until this government shutdown. It’s ridiculous. You’re not getting the wall built for $5 billion. And Mexico is not paying for it, we all know that, too. Meanwhile, it’s starting to turn people like me away.” – Trump voter

“Something miraculous has to happen for me to vote for him again.” – Trump voter

“That vote that I cast, shot myself in my own foot. But yeah, he’s staying to his promise, at the detriment to everybody else in the country. I mean — they expect us to come to work and work for nothing. What job forces their employees to work for nothing?” – Trump voter

“I supported this man and I supported his ideas and I don’t support the other side, but I cannot deal with what’s happening to our country. If this keeps up, it’s going to destroy us.” – Trump voter

“This has been the breaking point. He’s saying the government workers are OK with this? I haven’t met one who say they are OK with it, and I know plenty that voted for him.” – Trump voter

“We’re all scrounging. Everybody’s talking about how they’re going to pay their next rent, how they’re going to pay their next mortgage bill.” – Trump voter
