DNC Hispanic Media Director Enrique Gutiérrez released the following statement in response to the Trump administration removing an online resource intended to help the Latinx community enroll for health coverage.

“Donald Trump’s ongoing sabotage of the Affordable Care Act continues to hurt families across the country as this administration recklessly undermines the enrollment process for thousands of Latinx community members. The removal of this online resource goes to the heart of the matter – while Democrats are fighting to expand access for the 22 percent of Latinxs who are uninsured, Trump and Republicans are doing everything possible to make it harder to access quality health care. The Democratic Party believes health care is a fundamental human right, and will continue to fight to ensure every American has access to affordable care.”
