The DNC is launching a new online hub called I Will Run that streamlines all of the tools a candidate might need in order to run a successful campaign. Through this first-of-its-kind hub, Democratic candidates will have access to a list of best-in-class tools and vendors – digital, finance, research, security, training, and voter outreach – that they will need through the life cycle of a campaign, complete with negotiated pricing.

“I Will Run will be particularly helpful for local-level and first-time candidates who are new to politics and don’t know where to turn when deciding to launch a campaign,” said DNC CTO Raffi Krikorian. “Democratic candidates shouldn’t have to worry about setting up websites, press lists, or voter contact and fundraising databases. They should be free to focus on connecting with the voters they hope to represent.”

I Will Run provides a filtered map of available tech tools complete with standardized and negotiated pricing, allowing campaigns to circumvent the often cumbersome process of fielding pitches and negotiating with vendors. Each tool listed on I Will Run contains either a free option or a DNC-negotiated rate, many with up to a 25% discount.

This week’s pilot launch will initially provide access to I Will Run to Democratic candidates in 7 states – Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, and Iowa. We expect to expand the availability of I Will Run to additional states and to grow the universe of tools and vendors in the coming weeks and months.

In creating I Will Run, we aim to fill a significant gap in the progressive tech ecosystem by connecting candidates and staff with the best available tools to ensure success up and down the ballot.
