As Trump acts like the coronavirus is under control and downplays new outbreaks, Dr. Birx warned on CNN’s State of the Union that we “are in a new phase” and the virus “is extraordinarily widespread,” more than it was in March and April.
BIRX: “We are in a new phase and that’s why I really wanted to make it clear to the American people.”
