Today, on the three-year anniversary of Sen. John McCain’s “thumb down” vote to block Trump and Republicans from repealing the Affordable Care Act, the DNC War Room released a new video contrasting Sen. McCain’s courage against Trump’s continued attacks on Americans’ health care.

“Senator John McCain stood up to Trump and Senate Republicans three years ago when they tried to strip health care from millions. Now, in the middle of the worst health crisis of our time, Trump is still fighting to take away health care from 20 million Americans and gut protections for as many as 133 million people with preexisting conditions,” said DNC War Room senior spokesperson Lily Adams. “The American people have the chance to put an end to these attacks on health care by picking someone in November who will protect and build on the Affordable Care Act. That person is Joe Biden.”
