Welcome Back, JD Vacation!

Today, the vice president returns to his job, at least on paper, after two weeks summering in the U.K. at a $10,000-a-week home in the Cotswolds and a $28,000-a-week villa in Scotland, where he appears to be no better off with his golf game

Here are the stats: JD Vance has gone on vacation at least once a month since he took office. With that, he’s been busy using public resources for time off, including raising the water level of an Ohio river so he could go boating for his birthday.

In response, DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer released the following statement:

“JD, we hope you had another nice holiday. We wanted to catch you up: Since you’ve been gone, Americans are grappling with higher costs for school supplies, clothes, and groceries, as students and teachers return to their classrooms. It’s clear Vance’s loyalties lie with the ultrawealthy he’s been vacationing with — not with working Americans who are struggling under the Trump-Vance billionaire-first agenda.”
