Steinau was elected Chair of the Alaska Democratic Party after serving as both Vice Chair and District Chair. She is a resident of Big Lake, Alaska, a small community approximately ninety minutes north of Anchorage. As both a twenty-plus-year veteran of the real estate industry and small business owner, Casey brings a solid understanding of the balance of business and government to the table. Casey comes to the Democratic committee with a positive attitude, a willingness to work across boundaries, and most importantly, great enthusiasm for the present and future of the Democratic Party and this country.
