Massachusetts Vice Chair Debra Kozikowski serves as Northeast Vice President to the ASDC. A thirty-five year veteran of grassroots politics, Debra is an independent business and technical writer, former educator, licensed real estate professional and rural policy advocate. Friends and colleagues know her best for promoting rural-urban partnerships around local food and clean energy policies. Her passion for rural equity has recently focused on voter suppression aimed at disenfranchising women, minorities and seniors. She is co-founder of RuralVotes, a rural advocacy organization. Little known fact: Debra won first place for her Spicy Blueberry BBQ Sauce in the 2008 blueberry bloggers recipe contest run by the US Highbush Blueberry Council.
