DNC Statement on the Start of National Disability Employment Awareness Month

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and DNC Disability Caucus Chair Kerri Evelyn Harris released the following statement on National Disability Employment Awareness Month:
“As President Biden continues to build a worker-centered economy from the bottom up and the middle out, the Democratic Party is fighting for inclusivity and accessibility for all Americans, including and especially those with disabilities.
“Our workforce is strongest when all Americans are able to participate. Democrats, under the leadership of President Biden, have led by example, through initiatives that will make government applications and websites more accessible and user-friendly to people with disabilities and ensuring everyone can access government services. As we mark the start of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Democratic Party is committed to continuing to work alongside people with disabilities, disability rights advocates, and allies to to promote inclusion and accessibility in the workplace”
