On the third anniversary of President Biden and Vice President Harris’s inauguration, DNC National Press Secretary Sarafina Chitika released the following statement:

“In the three years since President Biden and Vice President Harris were sworn into office, they have delivered historic progress for the American people — they’re working to lower costs for hardworking families, a record number of jobs are putting Americans back to work, and we’re seeing a manufacturing boom while our roads and bridges are being repaired across the country. The Biden-Harris administration continues to deliver where Donald Trump failed — and as they campaign for four more years to finish the job, Trump is campaigning to take America backward. President Biden is running on an agenda to improve the lives of the American people, grow the economy from the bottom up and the middle out, strengthen democracy, and restore and expand our freedoms, while Trump is running on an agenda to benefit one person: himself. As President Biden and Vice President Harris round out their first term, voters will vote to build on their historic progress this November — not take us back.” 

Under President Biden’s leadership, more jobs were created in 2023 than any year under Trump.
