DNC Launches Ad Campaign Celebrating Lunar New Year

The ads will run in Chinese, English, Korean, and Vietnamese in key national outlets to reach Asian Americans across the country

The ads will run in Chinese (Traditional), English, Korean, and Vietnamese in key national constituency media outlets, including Asian Journal, Korea Times, Người Việt Daily News, and World Journal.

“As we come together to celebrate the Lunar New Year, Democrats are meeting Asian Americans where they are and in the languages they speak,” said DNC Deputy Executive Director Roger Lau. “This Year of the Dragon, the stakes have never been higher for Asian American voters, and we are committed to investing earlier and more than ever before to earn their support and continue building a brighter future for all.”

The ad campaign begins on Saturday and will run for two weeks, building on the DNC’s previous investment in digital and out-of-home advertising aimed at reaching Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander voters in Nevada. The ads will direct individuals to IWillVote.com — the DNC’s voter participation hub, where voters can register to vote, check their voter registration, and make a plan to vote, whether in person or by mail.
