JD Vance is heading off on vacation… again. Vance’s vacationing — on the taxpayers’ dime — might be explained by the fact that Donald Trump has relegated Vance’s vice presidential duties to nothing but shit posting on social media and trying to cover up the Epstein scandal. While Americans feel the squeeze of rising prices and massive layoffs, Vance is living it up in luxury estates across the globe — far from the reality of everyday Americans. 

In response, DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer released the following statement:

“JD Vance has spent more time vacationing than he has making life better and more affordable for working Americans. While Americans cut back on their summer plans to contend with skyrocketing prices and massive layoffs, Vance is making his Euro summer happen. It’s clear as day, Vance’s priority isn’t America — he isn’t even here.” 

After back-to-back vacations — including one where he used public resources so he could have a boating day — Vance is now off to the United Kingdom. His first stop is a lavish mansion with 15 bedrooms, a billiards room and a maze, followed by a stop in the Cotswolds — a place where “Land Rovers outnumber pickup trucks” and celebrity neighbors include Kate Moss, David Beckham, and Idris Elba. 

This comes after Trump and Vance ripped away health care from 17 million Americans, slashed food assistance for over 22 million families, and unleashed economic chaos on the American people — all to give their billionaire friends and donors another round of massive tax handouts. While working families struggle to get by, it’s clear where Vance’s loyalties lie — and it’s not with them.
