In observance of Yom Kippur, DNC Chair Ken Martin and Interfaith Council Co-Chairs Cindy Bass, Reem Subei, Indira Duggirala, and Johnnie Roebuck released the following statement:
“On Yom Kippur, the Jewish community observes the holiest day of the year through prayer, contemplation, and reflection. As Jewish families mark this Day of Atonement, we wish them an easy fast and ‘G’mar Chatima Tova’ — and hope it brings thoughtful reflection on the past year as well as optimism for a successful year ahead.”
